| 表面の説明 | Ornate border frames the central text field, which carries the denomination in both words and numerals along with the issuing authority and date. The note identifies the municipality of Kolberg as a seaside, brine, and mud-bath resort on the Baltic coast. A serial number appears at the lower left, with the printer's imprint of Gebr. Parcus München at the base. |

Kolberg's 1921 notgeld issues were among the more deliberately collectible pieces produced during the German small-change crisis — municipalities had long since recognized that philatelic demand meant printed series could turn a modest profit for town coffers without much of the paper ever returning for redemption. Gebrüder Parcus in Munich handled a substantial volume of this work and brought consistent lithographic quality to what were, functionally, municipal fundraising instruments as much as emergency currency.
The .2 2/3 suffix in the DeNG reference indicates a variant within the 737 series, worth tracking separately from the base type.
