| 备注 |
Bielschowitz was a coal-mining commune in the industrial heart of Upper Silesia, and this note was issued during one of the most politically charged moments in the region's modern history — the 1921 plebiscite period, when Upper Silesia's future between Germany and Poland was still unresolved. Municipal Notgeld of this kind proliferated precisely because the currency situation was uncertain and small change had effectively vanished from circulation.
Scherwolfs Nachf. in Gleiwitz was a regional commercial printer, not a specialist banknote firm, which is typical of small-commune Notgeld. The DeNG 2#104.1 reference places this within the Grabowski-Mehl corpus of German necessity money, where Bielschowitz issues are modestly documented but not particularly common.
