背面描述 The entire reverse is occupied by a hand-drawn rural vignette in ochre and mauve tones, signed 'M.W. Schulz' in the upper right, showing a rustic farmhouse with a steeply pitched tiled roof set among tall poplars and deciduous trees, with a fence and water channel in the foreground. The scene is rendered in a loose sketching style suggestive of a local Thuringian landscape. A geometric border of alternating mauve and ochre rectangular ornaments with rosette corner-squares frames the composition on all four sides.

备注

Rehmen is a small Thuringian village, and like thousands of German municipalities in 1921, it issued its own emergency currency — Notgeld — to compensate for the chronic shortage of small-denomination coins during the postwar inflation spiral. Gebrüder Parcus of Munich was one of the more prolific commercial printers of the Notgeld boom, producing notes for municipalities across Germany as demand outpaced any coherent central response.

The designer credit to M.W. Schulz places this among the artistically commissioned series rather than the purely utilitarian ones. Häckel as Bürgermeister and O. Edelstein as chair of the parish council both signed, lending the note whatever local authority a village of this size could muster.
