Denomination numerals '50' appear in large open figures to either side of the central vignette, with a faint underprint of historical figural scenes across the field; below, the value legend 'Fünfzig Pfennig' is rendered in bold blackletter script above the payment clause, issue date 'Stuttgart den 21. April 1921', the title 'Oberbürgermeister', and a manuscript signature, with series letter 'D' at lower right and a small purple diamond-shaped city stamp at lower left. |
