| Obverse description | Warm ochre-toned notgeld issued on behalf of the Württembergische Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart, with a central vignette of the Stuttgart coat of arms — a rearing black horse on a gold shield — set within an ornate cartouche with scrollwork flourishes. Denomination numerals '50' appear in large open figures to either side of the central vignette, with a faint underprint of historical figural scenes across the field; below, the value legend 'Fünfzig Pfennig' is rendered in bold blackletter script above the payment clause, issue date 'Stuttgart den 21.
