| Descrizione del dritto | The upper border carries the town name in ornate black-letter script on a grey-green ground, while the lower border bears the denomination in the same Fraktur style. The central field, printed in terracotta and ochre tones, presents the municipal coat of arms of Bad Sooden — a shield dated 1559 charged with crossed implements and the initial S — flanked on each side by a suspended balance scale enclosed within stylised cartouche panels bearing the numeral 50. Signature panels for the Gemeindekaße and the Bürgermeister appear to either side of the shield, each carrying a manuscript facsimile signature, with the printer's imprint at the foot. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | The reverse is dominated by a full-colour lithographic vignette of the historic town gate of Bad Sooden an der Werra, a brick archway surmounted by a clock tower with bell cupola and a sundial on its façade, flanked by half-timbered buildings; the date 1648 is inscribed at lower centre. Two heraldic shields — one bearing the town arms with crossed implements dated 1559, the other a rampant lion — appear at upper left and upper right within an ornamental arch border. A decorative cartouche at the base carries a two-line motto in red and black Fraktur lettering. |
