| 表面の説明 | The obverse is printed in black, green, and salmon-pink on white paper in a decorative Expressionist offset style. The upper panel bears the title inscription on a green ground, flanked below by three vignettes: at left, the civic arms of Genthin rendered as a stylised oak-leaf and clover-heart device; at centre, the bold numeral '50' above the word 'Pfennig' on a dark ground within a green border; at right, a crowned Madonna-and-Child figure set within a radiating aureole. A pink lower panel carries a two-line commemorative inscription to Otto von Bismarck as honorary citizen of Genthin, followed by the legal tender clause, issue date of 1 July 1921, and two facsimile magistrate signatures. |

A large, stark portrait of Otto von Bismarck — rendered in high-contrast hatching characteristic of Expressionist printmaking — occupies the central field, his bearded face gazing directly at the viewer. Above and below the portrait, two horizontal panels carry a Bismarck quotation in Gothic blackletter script, with the printer's credit 'Alfred Hanf-Erfurt.' printed in small type at the foot. |
