| 正面描述 | The left half of the note carries a detailed letterpress vignette of the Heilsberger Tor (Heilsberg Gate), a remnant of the medieval city fortifications dating from 1411, erected after the Battle of Tannenberg, rendered in fine line engraving with a clouded sky above. The right field is set on an orange-yellow guilloche underprint centred on a large numeral '50', with the denomination legend 'Fünfzig Pfennig' in Gothic script below the issuer heading 'Stadt Bartenstein/Ostpr.' and the voucher designation 'Gutschein über'. Two facsimile manuscript signatures appear above the role designations 'Bürgermeister' and 'Beigeordneter', with validity clause 'Gültig bis 31. Dezember 1921' at the foot. The entire note is enclosed within an ornate dark-brown floral and geometric border. |
