| Obverse description | Printed in black and ochre on cream paper using letterpress technique, the obverse centres the circular municipal seal of Gemeinde Oberhof at the top, flanked by spruce tree vignettes, with the denomination numeral '50' repeated in each upper corner. The large bold inscription 'Fünfzig Pfennig' dominates the centre, beneath which a text block states the redemption terms, the issue date of 1 Oktober 1921, and a serial number; the printer's imprint 'Aug.
