Below, a gold panel bears the Gothic-script legends identifying this as Notgeld of the Stadt Heldburg, with the validity clause and date, while the denomination "Fünfzig Pfennig" appears in red Gothic lettering within framed cartouches at lower left and right. Two manuscript signatures appear in the lower centre above the printed designations i.Bürgermeister and Stadtkämmerer, with the printer's imprint of Schneider & Co., Ilmenau i.Thür. at the very foot. |
