| Obverse description | Orange and black letterpress Notgeld note with a bold black outer border enclosing the town name OBER SALZBRUNN in the upper panel and IN SCHLESIEN in the lower panel, both on black grounds with denomination numerals 50 at each corner. The central orange field carries the denomination 50 PF. in large black type flanking the green town coat of arms — a shield bearing a gateway arch and key motif dated 1853 — with a large guilloche underprint numeral 50 in green. Below, a script text block gives the validity clause signed by Der Gemeinde-Vorstand Dr. Meyn and dated 1921; the designer credit FEIER appears at lower left and the printer imprint at lower right. |
