Flanking the central device are two large black roundels bearing the denomination numeral '50' in yellow, with 'Pfennige' inscribed below each; the serial number appears in a yellow panel at the foot, above the expiry date, and two manuscript signatures — that of the 1. Bürgermeister (Johann) at left and the Kassier (Heidenreich) at right — authenticate the note.
