| Obverse description | A detailed letterpress vignette occupies the centre of the note, presenting a panoramic view of Wriezen's riverfront with a steam barge moored alongside a drawbridge tower, sailboats on the water, and the town's church spire and buildings visible in the background. The validity inscription "Dieser Gutschein hat Gültigkeit bis zum 30. September 1922 / Wriezen, den 1. Oktober 1921" and the issuing authority "Der Magistrat" with a manuscript signature appear in the upper portion. The denomination "Fünfzig Pfennig" is rendered in bold Gothic blackletter script at the foot of the note, with a decorative scroll border framing the entire design; rhyming verse text in cursive script runs along all four margins. |
