| Obverse description | Multicolour Notgeld note with a green ivy-leaf border framing the entire design. At centre, a vignette of the Zörbig town tower with red-brick upper storey rises behind two circular medallions: to the left, the city arms supported by a winged angel figure in polychrome; to the right, a green-tinted roundel bearing the seal of the Sparkasse der Stadt Zörbig with an eagle above a shield. The large denomination numeral '50' occupies a central hexagonal cartouche in black and white. Below the vignettes, a townscape panorama with trees and buildings is rendered in red and black, with the validity inscription 'ZÖRBIG BIS 30. SEPT. 1921' across the lower margin. |
