表面の説明	The obverse is laid out in a green and brown colour scheme on a tan ground, with the denomination value '50 Pf' in each corner within shield-shaped cartouches. The central panel carries the denomination title in Gothic blackletter script and the issuing authority inscription, flanked by two lateral vignettes each showing a historical town guard in period costume — a drummer to the left and a musketeer to the right. The lower section presents the town coat of arms of Rothenburg ob der Tauber at centre, with the date of issue and redemption notice to the left and the countersignature of the Bürgermeister to the right, above a serial number in a guilloche underprint band.
