Obverse description Central vignette presents a line-art view of a medieval town gate and adjoining buildings in Eggenfelden, with the Bavarian lozenge arms on a cartouche in the foreground and the large year date '1921' flanking it below. Four heraldic shields of surrounding market towns — Gangkofen, Massing, Arnstorf, and Wurmannsquick — occupy the upper and lower lateral panels, each captioned in letterpress. The heading 'STADT EGGENFELDEN' arches above the central scene, while validity and issuing authority texts appear in the left and right margins respectively, with two manuscript signatures of the Direktor and Hauptkassier at lower right.

Reverse description The central vignette, set within an arched frame bordered by thorned vine ornaments, portrays Saint Christopher wading through water, carrying the Christ Child on his shoulders while steadying himself with a staff — rendered in fine line-art by Käthe Ulshausen-Schönberger, whose signature appears at lower right. Denomination roundels reading '50 PF.' are placed symmetrically at left and right within decorative scroll cartouches. Two poetic inscriptions in Gothic-style lettering fill the upper lateral panels, invoking Saint Christopher and exhorting German national unity.
