| Obverse description | Teal-green Notgeld note with large Gothic-script title 'Notgeld der Stadt Lichtenstein-Callnberg' at top, flanked by two black owl vignettes at upper corners. Denomination roundels '50 Pfg' appear at left and right centre, between which a block of Gothic text states the redemption conditions and issue date of 1 April 1921, followed by the issuing authority line 'Der Stadtrat' with a manuscript signature and serial number.
