Large bold Gothic '50' occupies the upper left corner and the abbreviation 'Pf' the upper right, both in blackletter. A central humorous vignette in fine line illustration shows five caricature figures — men and women in period dress — gathered around a small table, apparently in animated conversation over a bird, evoking a rustic genre scene.
