Reverse description The reverse presents a central vignette of a robed figure of a Kreuzherr (Knight of the Red Star) standing on a chequered ground, rendered in black letterpress with pink decorative ribbon-and-scroll underprint flourishes at each side. The denomination numeral '50' appears in all four corners in pink. A serial number is printed in black at the lower centre, with the founding legend text arranged across the top and bottom margins.
Reverse lettering KREUZBURG WURDE IM 13. JAHRHUNDERT DURCH DIE KREUZHERREN VOM ROTEN STERN GEGRÜNDET.
(Translation: Kreuzburg was founded in the 13th century by the Knights of the Red Star.)
