| Obverse description | Central vignette comprises the quartered municipal coat of arms of Hildburghausen, supported by two wild men (Wilde Männer) flanked by large acanthus-leaf ornaments in tan and black; denomination medallions reading '50 Pfg.' in red appear at left and right within foliate cartouches. Above the central shield a text panel carries a Middle High German verse in Gothic script, with the serial number set in a scrollwork cartouche at the base. Validity text in Gothic lettering at lower left and right reads 'Dieser Gutschein verliert seine' and 'Gültigkeit 3 Monaten nach Bekanntmachung', and the caption 'Wappen am Rathaus' appears at the top. |
