Obverse description Typographically bold Notgeld voucher printed in dark green on cream paper, enclosed within a dotted rectangular border. The issuer name STADT SIEGBURG appears in large decorative lettering across the upper field, beneath which the denomination numeral 50 and the word PFENNIG are set in monumental display type. At lower left, a circular municipal seal bearing the city arms of Siegburg is printed in letterpress, accompanied by a block of German text stating the conditions of acceptance and redemption, dated Siegburg, den 20. März 1921, with the facsimile signature of the Bürgermeister at lower right.

Dieser Gutschein wird von allen städtischen Kassen in Zahlung genommen. Er verliert seine Gültigkeit drei Monate nach Aufkündigung in den hiesigen Zeitungen. Die Stadt Siegburg haftet für die Einlösung.

Reverse description The reverse presents a finely engraved panoramic vignette of Siegburg rendered in dark brown, showing the town's rooftops and church spires with the Michaelsberg Abbey crowning the wooded hilltop in the background. The central vignette is framed by an ornate green letterpress border with scrollwork arabesques and denomination numerals 50 positioned in cartouches at the upper corners and lower centre. Small heraldic shields appear in the lower left and lower right corners of the decorative frame.
