These smaller Schleswig-Holstein communities often commissioned local printers, and the resulting issues tend to show more variation in ink quality and registration than the better-funded city series. The DeNG reference suffix ".1-3/6" indicates this is one of at least three known variants within the same denomination series, distinguished by serial number groupings or minor typographic differences catalogued by Dießner and Grabowski.
