A large bold numeral '75' dominates the upper centre, flanked by the inscription 'AUSGEGEBEN ZUR 75. JAHRFEIER', while interlocking ribbon banners carry the text 'NOTGELD DER STADT DOBERAN' across the field, with a stylised eagle or bird motif at centre. At the foot, 'DER RAT DER STADT DOBERAN' is printed in heavy Gothic type above four manuscript signatures, with a validity clause reading 'DIESER SCHEIN VERLIERT SEINE GÜLTIGKEIT 3 MONATE NACH BEKANNTMACHUNG' woven into the ribbon design.
