| 背面描述 | Tan note printed in black and red, with the denomination '50 Pfennig 50' rendered in Gothic script at the top. The central vignette is a detailed line-art illustration of the Evangelical church of the United Evangelical Congregation in Vegesack, with a prominent tower, arched windows, and flanking trees, signed 'RUSCHE' at lower left of the vignette. A decorative cross-hatched guilloche band runs below the vignette, with the bold inscription 'STADT VEGESACK' at the foot; red vertical text along both side borders records the church's congregation and a date of 31 October 1817, with the printer's imprint 'DRUCK C. A. NICOLAUS, BREMEN' at the lower left margin. |

| 备注 |
Vegesack, a shipbuilding town on the Weser north of Bremen, issued this note during the Kleingeldnot — the severe small-change shortage that gripped German municipalities in the early 1920s as metal coinage disappeared from circulation almost entirely. Hundreds of German cities and towns printed their own Notgeld to fill the gap, but Vegesack's series is distinguished by its local printer, C. A. Nicolaus of Bremen, rather than the specialist notgeld printers in Leipzig or Berlin who churned out the bulk of collector-targeted issues.
The .2-2/3 suffix in the DeNG reference indicates a specific paper or overprint variant within the type — worth confirming against the Grabowski-Mehl catalog before attributing.
