Obverse description Orange and black letterpress Notgeld on cream paper, with a fine guilloche wave underprint filling the orange border frame. The town name «Münchenbernsdorf» and the voucher legend «Gutschein über» are set in bold blackletter script across the top. Flanking the central vignette, the denomination numeral «50» appears twice in large bold type above the word «Pfennig». The centre carries the town's heraldic shield — a robed figure standing with arms extended, enclosed within an ornate baroque cartouche in orange and black — with an anti-counterfeiting notice lower left, a facsimile signature of the Bürgermeister lower right, and a validity notice in italic script along the lower margin.

Der Zeitpunkt mit dem die Giltigkeit abläuft wird in der hiesigen Allgemeinen Zeitung bekannt gemacht.
Reverse description Dark brown and orange letterpress vignette on a near-black ground, enclosed within the same orange border frame as the obverse. A bold promotional woodcut-style illustration fills the lower two-thirds of the field, showing an arrangement of rolled carpets, runners, and folded textile pieces in varying patterns, referencing the town's textile industry. Above the illustration, a three-line advertising inscription in white script on the dark ground promotes Münchenbernsdorf carpets, blankets, and runners as finding buyers throughout the world.
