| 裏面の説明 | The reverse is printed on a yellow ground enclosed within an ornamental border of repeated scallop motifs. A vertical border post divides the design into two equal halves, labelled 'Danmark.' on the left and 'Deutschland.' on the right, referencing the Schleswig plebiscite of 10 February 1920. Each half carries a four-line verse in the respective language — Danish on the left and German on the right — alluding to the Tiedje Line border dispute. The lower portion of both halves is occupied by contrasting silhouette panoramas: a rural Danish village with a church steeple at left, and an industrial German landscape with a factory chimney and windmill at right; denomination value '50' appears in octagonal cartouches at each upper corner. |
