正面描述 The note is printed on a yellow-orange ground with a decorative border in teal and red. A central vignette presents a lithographic view of the Goldacker farmstead, a white-rendered rural building set amid tall trees, captioned below with the name 'Goldacker'. Large ornate red numerals '50' flank the vignette on both sides. The upper legend is rendered in Fraktur script, the date of issue '30. Juni 1920.' appears at lower left, and an expiry notice together with the serial number and two manuscript signatures of the Gemeindevorstand are placed at lower right.

备注

Steinfeld is a small municipality in the Schleswig region — historically contested territory between Germany and Denmark, and the site of a plebiscite held in March 1920, the very year this note was issued. The timing is not coincidental. The Schleswig plebiscites divided the region along a north-south line, and municipalities scrambled to maintain local commerce amid currency shortages and political uncertainty.

A print run of over twelve million for a village-level issuer is striking — almost certainly printed centrally and distributed across multiple participating municipalities rather than produced for Steinfeld alone. Worth investigating whether the same plate series covers neighboring Schleswig communes.
