The denomination '50' appears in large numerals at upper left and right corners, with 'Pf' at lower left and right, all in the dark border field. The central text panel carries the value in Gothic blackletter script, issuer details, validity date, place and issue date, two manuscript signatures beneath the inscription 'DER MAGISTRAT', an official circular stamp at lower right, and a printer's imprint 'BUHE' at the base; a red serial number appears vertically at each side margin. |
