| Obverse description | Dark navy border frames a central guilloche underprint in violet-rose crosshatch pattern, enclosed within an ornate cartouche with zigzag and foliate edges. The denomination '50' appears in large numerals at upper left and right corners, with 'Pf' at lower left and right, all in the dark border field. The central text panel carries the value in Gothic blackletter script, issuer details, validity date, place and issue date, two manuscript signatures beneath the inscription 'DER MAGISTRAT', an official circular stamp at lower right, and a printer's imprint 'BUHE' at the base; a red serial number appears vertically at each side margin. |
