| Obverse description | Orange and black Notgeld voucher on cream-toned paper, with a decorative letterpress border of alternating red and black sawtooth design. The denomination 'Fünfzig Pfennige' is rendered in bold blackletter script across the upper portion, flanked by red ornamental rules and scroll devices. At centre, a text panel states the voucher's expiry condition, while the lower section carries the place-name 'Kaltennordheim', the date '20. Nov. 1920', the municipal authority inscription 'Der Gemeindevorstand', a facsimile signature 'Helmbold', the town arms vignette of a rooster on a shield with the initials 'R.G.', and a serial number cartouche at lower right. |
