正面描述	The central cartouche bears the crowned civic arms of Paderborn — a red cross on a divided shield — set against a blue trellis underprint, flanked on both sides by ornate Art Nouveau scrollwork borders. Circular roundels at left and right carry the denomination numeral '50' and the abbreviation 'Pfg.' respectively, both in red Gothic script. A decorative ribbon banner below the arms bears the issuing legend in red Fraktur, with the validity clause, issuing authority, date of 1 March 1920, and a manuscript signature occupying the lower panel.
