Reverse description The reverse, printed in dark blue on a pale blue guilloche underprint, presents a central vignette of the Triptiser Rathaus (Town Hall) rendered in fine line engraving style, set within an arched frame and captioned on a scroll banner below. Denomination numerals '50' appear in bold blackletter at the upper left and right corners. Flanking the vignette are two local dialect verses: to the left 'Tripliser Sand ist in der ganzen Welt bekannt' and to the right 'Tripstrill, wo die Pfütze über die Weide hängt', with the serial number printed in letterpress at the lower centre.
