| Obverse description | Green-tinted notgeld note with a decorative border of interlocking circles enclosing a festive Christmas-tree vignette rendered in black; spruce branches spread across the full width, hung with ornamental baubles, pinecones, candles, and six-pointed stars. At centre, a large black circular medallion carries the numeral '50' in white bold type, below which the place and date inscription 'Lauscha, Februar 1920' appears in italic script. The denomination 'Fünfzig Pfennig' is set in heavy Gothic blackletter type across the lower third of the note, while the issuer legend runs along the top in a framed rectangular cartouche. |
