Reverse description	The reverse is printed in blue-green and presents a full-width scenic vignette of a peat-cutting works (Torfwerk), with a large mechanical crane excavator and a narrow-gauge railway locomotive on the right, set against an open landscape with billowing clouds; the caption 'Torfwerk' appears in script at upper right and the artist's name 'W. Johannsen' is noted at lower right. A decorative border of alternating guilloche strips frames the composition, and a dark green banner across the lower portion carries the bold white inscription 'Stadt Oldenburg in Holstein', flanked on each side by the denomination '50 PFENNIG' in vertical letterpress panels.
