背面描述 Cream and brown note with vertical decorative columns of stylised gothic tracery in red and brown flanking a central rectangular vignette. The vignette, signed 'Walter Hege', presents a bold silhouette scene of armoured Hussite warriors advancing with weapons drawn, the skyline of Naumburg's cathedral towers visible on the horizon above them. Below the vignette, a text panel in Gothic script records the historical caption, with the denomination numeral '50' in red repeated at each corner.

备注

Naumburg's 1920–1921 Notgeld series is among the more photographically influenced of the German emergency money wave — Walter Hege, who would later earn serious recognition as an architectural and sculptural photographer, contributed designs that drew directly on the city's medieval fabric. The commission predates his celebrated work documenting Naumburg Cathedral's famous choir statues, which makes this series an early marker in a career that later shaped how Weimar-era Germany visualized its Romanesque and Gothic heritage.

J. Adolf Schwarz of Lindenberg im Allgäu printed for numerous municipalities during this period, a regional firm stretched thin by the sheer volume of Notgeld contracts flooding southern German printers after 1919.
