| Obverse description | The obverse is printed on a salmon-pink guilloche underprint and enclosed by a decorative chain-link border. The denomination numeral '50' appears in the upper left and right corners, flanking the bold Gothic-script title 'Gutschein der Stadt Schleiz'. The central field carries the denomination in large ornate Fraktur lettering reading 'Fünfzig Pfennige', beneath which the circular municipal seal of Schleiz bearing a crowned heraldic device is printed to the left, accompanied by the issuing authority inscription 'Der Stadtgemeindevorstand' and a manuscript signature above the place-and-date line 'Schleiz, den 25.
