A white oval cartouche at centre carries the redemption text in Gothic script above the large bold denomination numeral and word '50 PFENNIG 50'. The issue date 'Worms den 30. August 1919' and the authority line 'Der Oberbürgermeister' with a manuscript signature appear below the denomination.
