| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in black on a cream-yellow underprint with a light guilloche pattern. At left, a vignette in woodcut style renders a standing armoured figure — likely a historic city guardian or Roland statue — set against an architectural niche. The denomination '50' appears in ornate stamp-like cartouches at upper right and lower right, while the central text is set in elaborate blackletter (Fraktur) script, with the serial number printed in red at the top. Two manuscript signatures of municipal officials appear at the lower centre above the issuer line. |
