The denomination '50' appears in circular cartouches at each corner, while the large Gothic blackletter inscription 'Fünfzig Pfennig' dominates the upper centre beneath the title 'Notgeld.' in Roman script. The lower portion carries the issuing authority text, the place and date 'Groß-Wartenberg, d. 25. Juni 1919,' the legend 'Der Kreisausschuß:' followed by three manuscript facsimile signatures, and an oval official ink stamp of the Kreisausschuss des Kreises Groß-Wartenberg at lower left bearing a Prussian eagle. |
