正面描述	Notgeld issued in Fraktur script on a plain ochre ground, with the large Gothic denomination legend 'Fünfzig Pfennig' dominating the centre. A serial number is printed at the top within a ruled panel flanked by decorative wheat-ear vignettes and vertical wavy-line borders, with the numeral '50' repeated in each corner. The lower centre bears a small circular arms vignette of the Erbach district lion, flanked by two columns of text stating the redemption conditions and the place and date of issue, with a manuscript signature of the issuing authority to the right; a bold anti-counterfeiting warning legend runs along the bottom strip.
