| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse is framed by a bold black-and-yellow floral border with Art Nouveau-style rose and foliage motifs on all four sides, accented by a red rule. The central white field carries the text in Gothic Fraktur script: issue notice at top, the denomination 'Fünfzig Pfennig' in large lettering, and the validity date below. At lower left, a circular red wax-style seal bearing an eagle vignette is surrounded by a decorative chain ornament, with the serial number and the issuing authority designation 'Stadtpflege' accompanied by a manuscript countersignature to its right. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse carries a bold Jugendstil vignette of a large black heraldic eagle with fully spread wings set against a yellow-and-red underprint, a small cross on its breast; the eagle's talons rest on rocky ground rendered in brown tones. Above the eagle, the word 'Kriegsnotgeld' is set in large Gothic Fraktur lettering within a pale grey banner panel flanked by small decorative animal devices. The denomination '50 Pf. 50' appears in large red Gothic figures at the lower left and right of the eagle, and the issuer inscription 'der Stadt Rottweil a/N.' is displayed in Gothic script along the bottom margin. |
