| Obverse description | Orange and dark brown notgeld voucher with a decorative letterpress border incorporating corner rosettes and repeating ornamental medallions. A broad dark central band carries the denomination legend in Gothic blackletter script, above which the text 'Gutschein über' appears alongside a red typeset serial number. The issue date 'Halberstadt, d. 1. Oktober 1918' is printed at lower left, with a manuscript signature of the Magistrat at lower right; the city name 'HALBERSTADT' is repeated in bold capitals along the top and bottom borders, flanked by the numeral '50' at each corner. |
