| Obverse description | Notgeld voucher printed in red on plain paper with a black letterpress border of ornamental corner rosettes and a fine wave-pattern guilloche underprint filling the central field. The issuer's name appears at the top, followed by a validity clause, the denomination word 'Gutschein über fünfzig Pfennige' in bold blackletter script, and large red numeral '50' underprint numerals flanking the text. The date 'Immenstadt, den 1. Februar 1917' and a facsimile signature of the deputy mayor (rechtsk. Bürgermeister) appear in the lower portion, with the printer's imprint 'J. P. Himmer, Augsburg' at the foot. |
