| Obverse description | Printed in rose-pink on cream paper, the obverse is laid out within an ornate letterpress border of interlocking guilloche scrollwork with denomination numerals '50' at each corner. The central text, set in a combination of Fraktur blackletter and roman typefaces, announces the issuing authority and the voucher nature of the note, with the denomination 'Fünfzig Pfennig' rendered in a large, bold Fraktur script across the centre. Below the denomination, the date of issue and place name appear in spaced capitals, followed by two manuscript signatures above the printed designations 'Bürgermeister' and 'Ratschreiber', with a serial number between them. |
