| Obverse description | Cream-toned note printed in dark brown letterpress, with the denomination numeral '50' in large bold type at each upper corner. The heading 'Stadtgemeinde Haslach' and the word 'Gutschein' are set in ornate Gothic Fraktur script across the upper portion, followed by the value inscription 'Fünfzig Pfennig' in a large decorative typeface at centre. A faint circular guilloche underprint bearing the town name 'HASLACH' is visible at centre; below, the issue date 'Haslach i/K. 27.
