The central scene depicts a medieval banquet at which four figures raise tankards around a cloth-draped table bearing the city arms of Calbe; to the right stands a large Roland statue in armour holding a lance. At lower left a wooden barrel and drinking vessels are visible. A banderole at the foot carries a rhyming inscription in Gothic script, with the printer's imprint below. |
