背面描述 The reverse repeats the ochre floral guilloche underprint on a cream ground, with the Kirchheim unter Teck municipal arms — antler tines on gold over a blue field with white ornamental cross — rendered at larger scale in the centre. Circular value medallions inscribed '50' appear at left and right. A two-line validity clause in Gothic script is set at the top, and an anti-counterfeiting warning runs along the lower margin, with the printer's imprint 'GEBR. PARCUS, MÜNCHEN' in small capitals at the very foot.

备注

Kirchheim unter Teck issued this Notgeld in 1917 under the same wartime emergency that pushed hundreds of German municipalities into producing their own small-denomination scrip — the Reich's copper and nickel had gone to munitions, leaving a genuine shortage of fractional currency in daily trade. Gebrüder Parcus of Munich was one of the more prolific printers of municipal Notgeld during this period, handling commissions from numerous Württemberg towns simultaneously.

The 50 Pfennig denomination was among the most practically useful for small transactions, which means circulation wear on surviving examples tends to be heavier than on the purely commemorative Notgeld issued after 1920.
