| Obverse description | Printed in dark brown and tan on a pale green guilloche underprint, the note carries the denomination numeral '50' in starburst cartouches at upper left and right. A central brown vignette panel contains an ornate heraldic device — likely the city arms of Rinteln — surrounded by decorative scrollwork, above which the Fraktur legend 'Gutschein der Stadt Rinteln über Fünfzig Pfennig.' appears in bold letterpress. The lower portion bears a block of text in Gothic script detailing redemption conditions, dated 'Rinteln, im September 1917,' with two manuscript signatures below the printed authority lines 'Der Magistrat. i. V.' and 'Der Stadtverordneten-Vorsteher.' |
