| Obverse description | Printed on violet-purple paper stock, the obverse is enclosed within a decorative ornamental border combining dashed and scrollwork elements. The issuer's name 'Marktgemeinde Stammbach.' is set in bold letterpress type at the top, below which a central text panel bears the denomination inscription 'Gutschein über fünfzig Pfennige.' flanked on either side by the numeral '50', with a large guilloché-style underprint of '50' visible in a lighter tonal wash at centre. The date 'Stammbach, 15. Mai 1917.' appears below the denomination panel, with the legal protection notice 'Gesetzlich geschützt.' and the printer's imprint 'J. P.
