背面描述 The reverse is executed in the same lithographic palette of burgundy, grey, and orange, centred on a townscape vignette in which a canal or river recedes toward a medieval church tower and red-roofed buildings set among lush trees, with moored boats along the left bank. The denomination "50 Pfennig" appears in large decorative script at the top of the inner frame, and the legend "REUTERGELD" is rendered in bold block lettering within a ribbon device at the centre-lower portion of the vignette. The issuing city name "PARCHIM" is printed in large capitals across the bottom panel.

备注

Parchim is a small town in Mecklenburg, and like hundreds of German municipalities it resorted to emergency paper money — Notgeld — during the severe coin shortage that followed the outbreak of war in 1914. These municipal issues were produced locally, without central oversight, and the Rat der Stadt Parchim had neither the resources nor the need for a professional security printer. The result is the kind of modest typographic note that circulated hand-to-hand in local shops and markets until the coin supply stabilized.

The Grabowski reference Gra#1045.1-3/3 indicates this is the third variety within the series, suggesting at least minor printing or text differences across the run — worth checking signature blocks and paper stock carefully when attributing.
